We’re looking for a well rounded and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the operations and partner with other site leadership at our  DeviantArt office in Los Angeles.
 

As the Operations Manager for the DeviantArt HQ Team in Los Angeles, you’ll focus your energy and passion on transforming and growing our operations at our headquarters. You’ll take the lead in developing a dynamic and supportive environment that enables our employees to concentrate entirely on producing results. The ideal candidate has a background in office management, juggling various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Perform employee relations, policy implementation, and employment compliance; while also maintaining the office space, handling facilities and management of the office, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication; Lastly, the ability to work under pressure with the team and various vendors while maintaining a pleasant work environment.

 

You Will:

Build and overseeing annual operational budget for DeviantArt Headquarters and operations in the US.

Be a vendor liaison and contract negotiator.

Lead project manager for operations.

Plan and manage all internal and external events.

Manage all DA travel and flights.

Conduct professional references for all new hires.

Handle onboarding of new hires, communicating relevant information about company policies and procedures.

You have

Demonstrated leadership, vision and project management for major projects or initiatives

Experience in planning, hosting and running events

Experience managing real estate projects

At least 5 years of project management working with multiple teams across different disciplines and locations

Ability to travel up to 40 % of the time

Ability to succeed in a multitasking high pressure environment

A passion for managing an overall positive employee experience through ongoing operational support

Ability to successfully coach, develop and manage direct reports to a level of high performance
